Shawn Berks, Referral Coordinator/Non-Profit Administrator

Shawn was born and raised in Arizona and has been married since 1990. She and Joe have 3 grown children, and her favorite place to be is together as a family.

Shawn enjoys playing Pickleball with a great group of friends, reading with her Read Between the Wines book club of 10+ years, studying God’s word with her long-term small group Women’s Bible study, and entertaining/enjoying dinner groups with various friends. Shawn also loves to hike, cook and try new recipes. Their Briard dog named Millie, who they rescued just before the pandemic, made everything that much better.

She worked for years in the Financial Investment industry as a licensed assistant, loving the fast pace and getting to work with clients in all areas of service. She attended ASU to study Interior Design, but God had other plans for them and they moved to Oregon to live for 4 years.

They have remodeled 3 homes, and after this last one, she has “resigned” from that kind of extensive DIY. Now she is content with just changing up their decor with the treasures she finds while thrifting, garage saling, and mixing old with new — which also turned into a small business of repurposing furniture and decor.

Shawn is also a licensed realtor in AZ, loving the excitement that comes with helping others to purchase or sell their home while also making sure they have peace of mind through every step.
