We normally treat clients via weekly 50-60 minute sessions. At times we will recommend intensives/mini intensives if necessary.
***All of our therapists offer telehealth as well as in person sessions.
Almost all of our therapists offer Marital Counseling. We use a variety of approaches including EFT, attachment theory, Gottman theory, and EMDR in addition to assisting clients with communication skills and conflict resolution.
Four of our CCS therapists currently offer 13-hour marital intensives in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, and Prescott. We have found that treating marriages in this format is more effective than weekly one hour sessions. It is NOT necessary that your marriage is in serious trouble for you to benefit from participating in an intensive. Learn More >
Several of our therapists are trained and gifted in providing family therapy utilizing a family systems approach.
Our Psychologist, Don Durham is our Master clinician in family systems and trains our team. Elijah Steinbrecher is our Marriage/Family Therapist.
Several of our therapists at CCS offer premarital counseling packages. The material covered is attachment styles/Love languages/ GENOGRAMS and family histories/bibliotherapy.

Several of our therapists specialize in treating minor clients. Adrienne McGonigle specializes in counseling minors with disabilities such as ADHD/ADD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Currently, CCS offers 4 groups. Two DBT groups (South Scottsdale and Metrocenter) and two groups for wives/partners of men with sexual integrity issues. (South Scottsdale/Metrocenter). Learn More About DBT Groups >
Christian Counseling Services currently has 7 AZBBHE approved clinical supervisors. They provide professional clinical supervision for Practicum students, Interns, and Associate Level counselors.
***In addition, CCS has a training program for aspiring supervisors. We offer 18 hours of instruction to instill excellence in those who are the “gatekeepers of the profession”
