Core Values

  • Active Christ-follower: Our standard is that all CCS counselors are active in a local, Christian fellowship and have an ongoing and meaningful experience with Christ.
  • Professional excellence: All CCS counselors strive to be efficient and effective in their work, as evidenced by good stewardship of their clients’ time, resources, and finances.
  •  Generosity: Each CCS counselor is committed to giving back to the community by providing sliding fee scales, pro bono services, and engaging in community mental health.
  •  Curiosity: Every CCS counselor is expected to embrace the practice of life-long learning and to demonstrate an eagerness for learning more of God’s Word and growing their clinical competence through continuing education.

Our Vision

The vision of CCS is to provide high-quality, Christ-centered, trauma-informed psychotherapy to the residents of Arizona.

Our Mission

CCS is built on the pillars of a Christian worldview and trauma-informed psychotherapy, including EMDR. In addition to providing high-quality, professional counseling services, CCS is dedicated to teaching, training, supervising, and developing students, interns, and associate professionals in the responsible integration of a faith-based clinical counseling practice. Furthermore, we strive to offer low-fee payment options to meet the mental health needs of those who are unable to pay the full fee for professional services.
