Robin is a master’s level intern working on a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She’s also completed half of a Master of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
She’s worked with youth for 22 years. The first few managing a group home for teen and teen moms in the foster care system, the last almost two decades as a youth pastor for Junior High and High School students. She believes there is value in all human life. This value is embedded in each one of us by our creator, God. As a pastor, she has seen many people hurting due to past trauma, current circumstances, and undiscovered worth. She is passionate about joining others on their journey of healing and being truly free in Christ. A truth she believes or all is Jehovah Jireh, which is Hebrew for “The LORD Will Provide.” Robin stands on the truth that the Lord will provide.
Growing up in Denver, Colorado, Robin moved to Phoenix in 1999. She loves mountains, the beach, and now the desert. As mother of 3, her favorite title is mom. Her family loves to play pickleball and card games, hike, and watch movies. Her favorite all time show is The Office, she’ll quote it with you any day.
Robin is currently being trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Having had many years of experience working with youth, Robin is also available to work with all ages. She is working under the direct supervision of Candace Cook, MS, LPC, and an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
