Perry Emerick has spent his whole professional life serving and caring for people. After completing his undergraduate degree in youth ministry and being ordained in 1996, he has been ministering in various roles for over 28 years across all age groups. As a result of his counseling people in a pastoral role, Perry felt called to increase his skill and ability in this area by completing his Master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Perry is a biblically-based, trauma-informed therapist and is EMDR trained.
Of special interest for Perry is working with men and couples who have been stuck in their life through a variety of challenges including traumatic experiences and addictions to pornography. He has witnessed first-hand the destructive nature of these issues on the individual, couples, families, and society and has a passion to help men experience freedom, healing, and hope.
Perry is married with three children and loves spending time around anything with water, specifically scuba and boating, as well as hiking and the outdoors. Perry is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Perry practices out of the Mesa and South Scottsdale offices and can be reached at 480-861-9002 or at perry@
I am able to meet with clients either online via telehealth or in person at my office.
