Lincoln Baker is a Licensed Associate Counselor at Christian Counseling Services of Arizona. He holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, a distinctive program that equips him to offer a holistic, integrative approach to care, addressing the whole person across mind, body, and soul. Lincoln believes that true, lasting healing happens when we look beneath the surface. If you feel trapped by current struggles or old hurts that are keeping you stuck today, his root-based approach helps move past simple coping mechanisms to target the core experiences driving the issue.
As a trauma-informed clinician, Lincoln specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This specialized therapy changes how the brain stores stressful or painful memories, allowing clients to safely target distressing experiences, take away their sting, and clear out the old messages trauma often leaves behind, such as feeling broken or not enough. By tailoring this process to each client’s unique goals, Lincoln helps individuals dismantle those distortions, heal deep wounds, and safely reclaim their true identity and worth. He practices under the clinical supervision of Perry Emerick, M.S., LPC, an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
Originally raised in northern British Columbia, Canada, Lincoln is a dual US/Canadian citizen and a member of both the Carcross/Tagish First Nation and Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. He holds a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Calvary Chapel Bible College and is also a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His early background in the arts and storytelling shaped the deep empathy and emotional connection he brings to the counseling room today, guiding his passion for helping others navigate their personal journeys toward restoration. Lincoln and his wife of over twenty years live in Queen Creek, Arizona, where they are raising their two daughters.
Lincoln sees clients at both the Queen Creek and Gilbert offices, offering both in-person and online sessions. His rate is $135 per clinical hour. To begin your journey, you can contact Lincoln at (623) 633-2516 or by email at lincoln@christiancounselingservicesaz.com.
I am able to meet with clients either online via telehealth or in person at my office.
