Karina Sandoval - MAPC, LAC

Karina Sandoval is a Masters Level Therapist, having graduated with a Masters in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor with the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Karina was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is thankful for her up bringing and her exposure to diverse experiences and populations. Growing up in Los Angeles had a direct impact on her passion for helping individuals of all backgrounds. Karina is a Christ centered therapist who believes that both mind and spirit need to align in order to find inner peace. 

Karina believes mental and emotional healing can result in a greater and purpose driven life. Her goal is to aid individuals of all ages and backgrounds attain healing through evidenced based therapies. She is currently receiving training in EMDR. Through her education, professional, and spiritual journey, Karina has developed a passion for working with individuals, families and marriages to impact the following generations. Karina would like her clients to know that although she is a spiritual integrationist, she is able to see all clients and meet them where they are and to meet their needs. She understands firsthand how difficult it can be to seek support for life issues. 

She believes through commitment and therapy, there isn’t anything that cannot be overcome. Karina is fluent in Spanish and is able to fully support the Spanish speaking community. Karina enjoys spending time with friends and family and getting to travel whenever time allows.
