In Deborah’s own words, “I know what it is like to want to hide. Growing up in my family, the message I heard was, “Children are to be seen and not heard.” As a result, the lie that I internalized was this: what I have to say is not important because I am not valuable. The good news is that God always redeems our pain when we bring it to Him. The gift that came from this emotional wound was my determination to not only find my voice but to help others find theirs!

Deborah initially earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Dentistry. Twenty years later, she had a midlife career change. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University in 1991, and certification as a Life Coach at the Life Purpose Institute in La Jolla, CA. She is a Professional Counselor, licensed by the State of Arizona (#1194) with over 31 years of experience. She is also a Board Certified Life Coach. She was trained in and has been effectively using EMDR since 1999.”
She is ready to serve you from her office located in North Phoenix near Pinnacle Peak and Tatum, just north of Desert Ridge.
In addition, she offers summer hours in Prescott Arizona, for those of you who want to cool off up north.
