Chris Panepinto - Intern

american association of counselors

Qualifications/Background/Experience

Chris is a Master’s Level Intern pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Chris earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Social Work from Arizona State University in 1995. For six years, she had the privilege and pleasure of leading psychoeducational groups encouraging character integrity and goal-setting with thousands of young men and women across many high schools and youth groups within the state. She has been a homeschool educator to her two children for 11 years while serving on ministry teams and eventually as a Women’s ministry director at her church. She has been married for 23 years and has two children.

Chris is passionate about helping people and encouraging them to live their best life. She believes that one of the best ways to do this is to help people understand the root causes that negatively impact their identity and relationships. Because she believes in the goodness and faithfulness of God, she believes there is always hope, even in the most challenging circumstances.

Chris is completing her training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. She is working under the direct supervision of Dr. Don Durham, AZ Licensed Psychologist and approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Behavioral Health Examiners.

Chris will be seeing clients at our Mesa Greenfield office on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. You may reach Chris at her email address: chrisP@christiancounselingservicesaz.com or contact her on her cell (call or text) at 480-710-0377.
