Chris Collins, MBA, MA, LAC

Qualifications/Background/Experience

Chris Collins, MBA, MA, LAC is a Licensed Associate Counselor at Christian Counseling Services of Arizona. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University (2018) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University (2026). Chris brings a broad base of experience to his clientele and is astute in his approach. 

Native to Arizona, Chris has followed Christ since his youth and is inspired by a calling to partner with God in the healing of broken hearts. He serves in his local church, leading Bible study groups and mentoring young adults. In the counseling room, he creates a safe, grace-filled space where clients can explore their stories, process pain, and grow in their identity in Christ.

Chris is trained in EMDR and provides trauma-informed care for children, adolescents, and adults. He connects wonderfully with children and adolescents, understanding the developing years and family challenges. He also works with couples, offers premarital counseling, including counseling support for partners beginning a new chapter later in life. He works with relational, family, and spiritual concerns. Sessions are collaborative and aimed at practical change and deeper restoration.

Chris lives in the West Valley, where he is an active member of Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV). He finds joy in family, serving his community, and reflecting on God’s creation. He brings a heart for service and a steady commitment to helping clients face life’s challenges with faith and resilience.

He works under the supervision of Theresa Hay, MS, LPC, NCC, an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
