Andy Hay, MA, LAC

Qualifications/Background/Experience

Andy Hay is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who is passionate about helping individuals find healing, freedom, and lasting change. Before entering the counseling field, Andy spent nearly a decade in corporate insurance, trusting God to guide him toward his true calling. Through his own experience with premarital counseling, he discovered a deep passion for helping others navigate life’s struggles and pursue emotional and spiritual healing.

Andy works with young adults, couples, and men facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and feeling stuck in unhealthy cycles. He understands how overwhelming it can feel when pain, fear, or past experiences begin to steal joy and purpose from everyday life. His goal is to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients feel seen, understood, and supported throughout the healing process.

Andy integrates evidence-based counseling practices with biblical principles to provide holistic care that addresses both the heart and the root causes of struggle. He has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and often incorporates EMDR techniques to help clients process trauma, reduce emotional distress, and move toward lasting healing.

Outside of counseling, Andy enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting with his dog, attempting new recipes (not always successfully), and spending time with his family.

Andy is supervised by Susan Panos, M.Ed, LPC, as he works toward full independent licensure. He currently practices at the Paradise Valley office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and at the North Scottsdale office on Fridays.

You may contact Andy at 623-404-1262 or email him at andy@christiancounselingservicesaz.com.
