Andrea Becker, MS, is a counseling intern at Christian Counseling Services, offering in-person and telehealth sessions. She brings a strong foundation in community mental health, with experience helping adults navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, ADHD, and autism.

Andrea’s approach is person-centered and solution-focused, tailoring her work to each individual’s goals and needs. She draws from evidence-based modalities such as DBT, CBT, and ACT, while also specializing in expressive arts therapy, using visual art, music, and creative writing as powerful tools for healing and self-discovery. She is currently training in EMDR to further support trauma recovery.

Andrea earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Prescott College, where she is also completing a post-graduate certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy. Her work is deeply rooted in her Christian faith, guided by Romans 12:15: “Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.” She strives to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued as beloved children of God.

Outside the therapy room, Andrea enjoys time with her family, creating art, and exploring Arizona’s natural beauty. Her favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, reflects her heart for hope and healing: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”

Andrea will be working out of our Goodyear and Surprise offices. She will be working on Tuesday and Thursday in Goodyear as well as Friday and Saturday in Surprise.
