Amy Faust received her Bachelor of Psychology Degree from Arizona State University and her Master of Counseling Degree with a specialty in Marriage, Child and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for twenty years and has worked in a variety of Mental Health settings and with a myriad of populations. Amy is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained and utilizes this form of therapy when working with clients who present with all sorts of trauma, anxiety, depression and family-oriented issues.
As lifelong Christian, Amy first began integrating her faith into her work shortly after becoming licensed but has felt called to develop this more fully in recent years. She has volunteered in a Church Counseling Ministry and runs a women’s home Bible Study every week. Amy believes her faith and relationship with Christ is pivotal in her work and regularly refers to scripture when helping her clients process through the trials and tribulations they endure.
She has a passion for working with the military and their families, and credits this to growing up around the military in Germany and being married to a United States Marine for more than 18 years. As a Military Spouse she has experienced, first hand, the unique challenges of a military family, both during and outside of war time. Amy is a mother and stepmother to five kids, and a grandmother to five grandchildren as well.
Amy is currently working out of the Queen Creek office, Monday through Thursday and provides telehealth sessions during the week as well. She can be reached via phone at (480) 935-6626 or email at: amy@christiancounselingservicesaz.com.
