Andy Hay is a graduate student at Concordia University in Irvine, California. He began his career in the insurance industry almost a decade ago. He knew insurance was never his calling, but he waited to see where God would direct him. Andy loves being outdoors and enjoys simple pleasures, such as a good cup of coffee, a sunset, and a long walk with his wife and dog.
Counseling soon became an interest as he sought pre-marital counseling, and it quickly became a passion as he enrolled in graduate school several months later. His passion is to help you walk in healing in the areas that have been weighing you down. He knows what it is like to feel like years are being stolen and how hard it can be to break that cycle.
Andy incorporates evidence-based counseling practices and combines them with biblical beliefs. Andy is passionate about working with teenagers, young adults, and older men who face constant challenges.
Andy believes that to address a problem, you must address the roots. He has completed his training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and may frequently utilize it when working with you as you process and heal from your trauma.
Andy is supervised by Susan Panos, M.Ed, LPC, as he works towards full licensure. He currently practices out of the Paradise Valley office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and the North Scottsdale office on Fridays.
