The majority of my time in mental health has been spent working in community mental health. There I had the opportunity to work with clients dealing with a broad range of mental health issues. I have worked in inpatient addiction treatment as well as outpatient therapy settings. I am very comfortable working in the areas of addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety and self-esteem.
As a therapist, I bring a unique perspective, shaped in large part by my own journey of growth and healing. I work with clients using a holistic and integrative approach, including EMDR, CBT, mindfulness and other modalities. More importantly, I treat every client as a unique individual, and tailor my approach to each client’s individual needs and goals. But regardless of what techniques I might employ with any given client, the fundamental Chistian principal of love underlies everything I do.
I am able to meet with clients either online via telehealth or in person at my office.
