Pia Barron-Joanou, Practice Manager/ Referral Coordinator

Pia Barron-Joanou serves as the Office Manager/Administrative Assistant for Christian Counseling Services.
Pia, plain and simply loves people, especially children. She has been a Christ follower for over 3 decades. She has
served as a Youth Pastor and Children’s Ministry Director in the past as well as being a Preschool teacher for over 30
years and serving on the Glendale Elementary School Board as an elected member.

Pia was an Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Discipline and Attendance at Apollo High School for 6 years.
She also worked for AIA baseball and track and field while at Apollo High.

Pia has been a small business owner in Prescott and developed a successful Head Start home based program in
Prescott and surrounding communities, that is still in existence today. Above all, Pia is the loving mother/grandmother of four adult sons and 5 grandchildren. She values her time as Grammy and can be found playing with the grands, her husband, Marty, and her dog in Mayer, Arizona. Pia loves the outdoors, reading, hiking, and spending time at the Lake, boating and paddle boarding with her family and friends.
