Tania Rojo, MAPC, LAC

american association of counselors

Qualifications, Background & Experience

Tania currently holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University where she graduated with honors. She currently holds a LAC in the state of Arizona. Tania is Christ and family-centered and enjoys working with an array of individuals. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Tania takes a holistic counseling approach to help support the individual’s healing process.

Tania worked for over five years in education and community resources supporting parents and students. Tania believes that the root cause of many physical, mental, and emotional sufferings is based on past trauma. Through increased self-awareness and God’s redemptive love, she began her trauma-healing journey and discovered her calling to be a counselor.

Tania is passionate about serving God by helping others in her community heal from past experiences that hinder their ability to be the person God has created them to be. One of Tania’s passions is helping to build strong Christian families by offering resources, education, and trauma-healing support.

As a trauma-informed clinician, Tania believes that the mind can heal itself and sees EMDR therapy as a gift to support this process. Tania is trained in EMDR, RTEP (Recent Traumatic Events), and GTEP (Group Traumatic Events). She is able to help individuals dealing with recent traumatic experiences such as an act of violence or natural disaster.

Tania is fluent in Spanish and passionate about serving the Spanish Speaking Community. She works under the supervision of Jennifer Cecil, M. Ed LPC, who is an approved Clinical Supervisor through the AZBBHE. Tania will see clients in the Goodyear office and can be reached at tania@christiancounselingservicesaz.com or 602 529-2111
