Qualifications/Background/Experience

Jules is a master’s level intern working on a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse Counseling in 2020 from University of Mary in North Dakota. Jules has experience working with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) certification as a case manager and Clinician providing group and individual coaching, working with depression, anxiety, and mood disorders within treatment facilities, as well as previous experience with ABA therapy with children.

Jules currently lives in Gilbert with her husband and dachshund/corgi mix named Robert. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois, but calls Arizona her home. Jules is an active participant in her local parish, and is involved in music ministry and worship in the East Valley. Jules has felt called to become a counselor from a young age, and feels passionate about Christian Integration within counseling.

 Jules believes in a trauma focused approach, and believes in a holistic approach to healing. Jules is completing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Jules works under the supervision of Candace Cook, MS, LPC, LAMFT, who is an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

Jules works out of the Mesa office Monday, Friday, and Saturday.
