Cristina Cummings is a Licensed Associate Counselor. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Western International University and her Master’s degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She is EMDR trained and has worked with adult individuals and couples as well as groups on a variety of mental health issues including depression, stress management, anxiety, drug/alcohol abuse management, relationship conflict/communication. She completed her internship with Arizona Counseling and Consulting services learning and applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
Cristina recently served at Vineyard Church North Phoenix as the Coordinator of the Counseling Ministry and during the previous 5 years, she volunteered as a lay counselor assisting the pastoral staff with pre-marital counseling, marriage counseling, and individual counseling. This experience allowed her to combine her passion of counseling while sharing her faith.
Previously, Cristina worked in the corporate world for 15 years helping the military community and their families as an Insurance agent and client advocate.
Cristina’s focus and passion are about meeting her clients where they are in their journey in a compassionate and safe environment while empowering them to learn about themselves, set realistic goals, and work as a team to achieve them.
Cristina is a bilingual (Spanish-English) counselor.
