Abbra Ahmad is a master’s level intern working on her second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health
Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family. With a great passion for God’s people, she will be
finishing up her program at Grand Canyon University in 2024 and is excited to join the team.
She has worked with all ages in ministry for over 20 years. She is a local Pastor in the city of Buckeye
where she is very active in her community. Being an advocate for those who are hurting she stands firm on God’s word. 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith and not by sight. Her faith has brought her this far and she plans on continuing this journey to help others to be set free.
Growing up in a small city in Ohio. She was married at the age of 19 and has five children. She moved to
Phoenix in 2014 and has enjoyed living in the sunshine! Being a military veteran wife, she has endured a lot. This has shown her how good God is. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, travel, and study the word of God.
Abbra is currently being trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Having many years of experience with youth and families she can work with all ages. She is working under the direct supervision of Elijah Steinbrecher MS, LMFT who is a board-approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Arizona.
